New to SouthLake? We’re so glad you found us.
We meet every Sunday for Worship at 10:30. Our Worship Service combines elements of our Christian heritage with modern forms of music. Overall the music is contemporary with some of the familiarity of traditional.
We sing, pray, read God’s Word, and receive teaching from our pastors.
On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper.
Dress is casual; you’ll be equally at home in jeans or a sports coat.
If you’d like to come earlier, we connect in Sunday School classes from 9:30-10:10.
Our passion at SouthLake is building bridges of hope and grace between the Lake Norman Community, the City, and the World, as we connect them with the love of Jesus Christ. We’d love to have you join us!

We are a church family that LOVES children. You are welcome to keep your children, of any age, with you during Sunday School or Worship; however, if you find your littlest ones need loving care during those times, we have nursery staff waiting to assist you.
Our nursery is divided into two rooms by age:
Monkey Movers (ages 2-3) - Room 113
Tiny Turtles (infants up to 2 yrs old) - Room 114
If you find you are in a need of a quiet spot to attend to your nursing child, feel free to visit our
Nursing room - Room 112.
The worship service and sermon are piped into all of the rooms for your convenience.
(Nursery is also provided for special events.)
Elementary, Middle, & High School
Elementary school students (4 yrs-5th) meet in classrooms based on grade in school. Sunday school lessons progress through the Bible in a systematic manner; however, each lesson stands-alone. The lessons provide take-home applications allowing students opportunities to apply Biblical truth to their daily lives.
Middle school students (6th-8th) meet weekly for Sunday School in our upstairs, Eagles Nest, and cover various age-appropriate topics from a Biblical perspective.
High school students (9th-12th) also meet in the Eagles Nest and are challenged by Biblical truth as they discus issues relevant to their age-group.
Adult Sunday School Classes are a great time to dig deeper into God’s Word. Classes, topics, and teachers change quarterly, so check back in January, April, July, and October for new classes.
Current Class Offered:
Christianity Explored: taught by Harrison Spitler
Classes beginning in June:
The Book of Romans: taught by Mark Clark
Prodigal God - Luke 15: taught by Pete Scheidt
