"ASK THE LORD OF THE HARVEST...." (Matt. 9:38)

Jesus told us that whenever we lack what's necessary for the advancement of his Kingdom, we are to ask him to provide.  We ask him in prayer.

The needs of Christian workers are constant, tremendously varied but always present.  We can come alongside our missionaries all over the world as partners in prayer.  SouthLake Church is to be "a house of prayer for all nations." (Isa. 56:7)

In October, Missions Emphasis Month, our goal is to recruit 100 persons to pray regularly for a missionary or mission agency during 2024.  There is power in that.  There is also obedience to Christ's command.

Won't you take part? Below you will find a list of missionaries to choose from, or you can pray for any other missionary you wish.  Just commit to pray regularly. (You define "regularly.")  We will help you by providing reminders and current news from the mission field to guide your prayers.

The needs are great.  Christ's prescription for meeting those needs is simple: "Ask the Lord of the harvest...."
